Welcome to The Cottage Tea Room, Brinscall.
We have been open since March 2008. Kim and Janet welcome villagers and visitors alike. We also welcome cyclists, runners and walkers.
The Cottage Tea Room serves delicious homemade cakes and snacks, traditional cream tea and daily specials. We provide a variety of freshly made sandwiches and drinks.
Kim and Janet both live locally, having grown up in Brinscall and surrounding villages and both have extensive knowledge of the area.
Apart from the obvious welcoming drinks and delicious food available, we have a variety of items for sale, including cards and gifts.
We also sell books by local authors, including the Lost Farms of Brinscall Moors by the late David Clayton, Trogglyboggs by Alec Price, Anne Droyd stories by Will Hadcroft together with Whippet Ways (a book of local walks in aid of St. Catherine’s Hospice).
We also have some original framed artwork for sale.
And as if that isn’t enough to make you want to pay us a visit, we have friendly staff and great customers who are usually looking for someone to chat to.
